Our well-established centre has plenty of space and interesting places for children to explore. In early 2011, we redeveloped our outdoor environment to provide a rich and sustainable outdoor learning area. This space gives children many opportunities and appropriate challenges.
Our classrooms are rich in provocations, together with a diversity of educational resources, including information and communication technologies (ICT’s). In late 2013, our classrooms were also carefully redesigned to provide a range of spaces for children to explore, investigate and learn. The environments cater for a diversity of children and aim to stir imaginations and support active and meaningful child-directed learning.
We are committed to providing an environment that encourages children to investigate and explore as they make sense of their world.
To ensure that children’s learning is at the forefront of our practise we follow the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines and are inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, which emphasises the cooperative nature of teaching and learning.
As a Christian kindergarten, we are invested in developing partnerships between children, parents and teachers, creating a vibrant learning community.
